Strawberry Delight Squares

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham crackers finely crushed
  • 1/2 cup sugar divided
  • 6 tbsp. melted butter
  • 1-1/2 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 1 cup thawed cool whip
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 pkg. strawberry jello
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water
 
Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of sugar and butter.  Press firmly onto bottom of 13x9 in. baking pan.  Set aside.  Beat cream cheese, reamining 1/4 cup sugar and milk until smooth.  Gently sitr in whipped topping.  Spread over crust.  Refridgerate.
Meanwhile, stir boiling water into gelatin at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved.  Stir in cold water.  Refridgerate 3 hours or until firm.  Cut into squares.
